A Strange and Beautiful Thing: The Body Shop Body Sorbet

Don't you love sweaty thighs sticking together while you walk on a hot summer's day? Ah, how glamorous to be a woman. Yes, this is too much information but it's reality and it drives me crazy to no avail... until now. I have found a product that helps my thighs from sticking together in the hot sun... at least for a few hours.

I came across this new release from The Body Shop a few weeks ago. The Body Shop Body Sorbets are a new formula that smell and feel like rubbing a smoothie all over your body yet dries to a powder finish. That's right, it moisturizes the skin and makes you smell like fruit but leaves a smooth and silky powdered feel on the skin. Another bonus about this product is that if you store it in your fridge, it feels amazing to smooth onto skin after a hot shower on a hot day. If you are the type of person who gets easily overheated in the shower, this is an absolute god-send. And if I haven't convinced you of it yet, this can be applied to minor sun burns to help cool and soothe the skin. Oh yeah, and it helps your thighs from sticking together when wearing skirts/dresses/shorts (which is probably one of the most annoying things ever). Need I say more?

Basically, this is the perfect summer moisturizer for me. This puppy has taken up permanent residence in my fridge and I will be repurchasing the second it runs out. I don't understand what sort of science was involved in making a completely non greasy moisturizer that actually hydrates the skin, but I'm thoroughly impressed with the formula. Not to mention, the mango scent is divine and smells good enough to eat (it also comes in strawberry, satsuma orange, moringa flower and pink grapefruit scents).

Have you tried The Body Shop Body Sorbets?

Thanks for reading.

  1. I was skeptical of this stuff, but I'm also on the band wagon! I picked up the Satsuma one a few weeks ago before returning to our wonderful Rock for vacation and I'm already about half way through it. Might have to grab another one before heading home. (:
